Two recent additions (1992 and 1998 installations) to Brady's wide web (60"to 63") capability are designed and operated as "white room" coaters to allow the manufacture of exceptionally clean products. "White room" quality is achieved by implementing the following design and operational features:
- HEPA filtered room and oven air
- Contact and not-contact web cleaners
- Cleanroom attire
- Segregated packaging and cleanup areas
- Good cleanliness practices
The newest "white room" coater, uses Class 1000 conditioned air in the coating room, ovens, and unwind/rewind rooms. This new 300 fpm coater, with a 115' long oven, is used to make clean products for medical, electronics, automotive, graphic arts, product identification and many other applications.
